Starting to Venture around

So yesterday we went into the city to see what it was like for the first time. And I’ll tell you... it was soooo different. The roads are... not roads I don’t think lol and people just walk around in like allay ways, and sometimes a car drives by. And in the center of all of the allay ways is like this large area that is the same type of ground as the allay way "roads" here in the center people are standing around chatting. There are a few restaurants that have tables set up in the middle and waitress come out and waits on you there. Around the center are little shops and a lot of ice cream shops. Jaiden loved it because we were right near a few little girls while we were deciding where to go next.
on the roads, and in the center you would see people just strolling a lot on their bikes, sometimes just one person, sometimes families, sometimes couples.... one of the pictures is an "allay way" or road and you can tell it def would not be a road in the US. Once we decided to go somewhere we were just walking and found this BEAUTIFUL garden with tons of statues and beautiful green grass and trees. That is where Jaiden discovered pigeons!! This for the rest of the day was her main source of entertainment.
Anyways. We ended up finding this little pizzeria and ordered a "peperoni pizza" which in the US is a pepperoni pizza... right... well in Italy it is a pizza with fresh mozzarella and fresh peppers ;) ahah it was still delicious though. So when you order "acqua" or water here you pay usually about 2 Euros which is like maybe $2.50 in the states. Coffee, and tea, and hot chocolate are even cheaper than water here. And you always get it in a glass liter bottle. I definitely thought that was weird at first!!
So Friday night we went to this Chinese restaurant outside of the gate and the toilets... well I should have took a picture of them, if that would have been even partially ok. Well the toilets are in the ground. Litterally and no changing tables. So had to lay Jaiden on the floor next to the toilet bowl and change her diaper. Poor thing.
But the floors in the restaurant were very cool. They were glass and had water with fish underneath the floor.
